Eye Lab Optometrist

Eye Lab is a creative team of eye care professionals that is pushing the boundaries of optometry through their unique optometric methods - myopia management and vision therapy.

Through participatory sessions to share ideas, we combined our ideas and visions from the Dr. Sherman's team to come up with the name “Eye Lab”, which expresses the optometrical team’s sincere interest in innovative and individualized care for people and communities.

CONCEPT

As Eye Lab would be applying unique therapy to offer individualized eye care, Dr. Sherman described his idea for as “back to nature” for his vision. With the idea in mind, I began sketching and articulating of the “feeling” of nature for eye care.

VISION THERAPY KIT

In collaboration with Dr. Melody, who specializes in vision therapy to optimize vision, performance and comfort, I created an tool kit along with her therapy service. The kit is composed by a notebook for recording the therapy exercise log and a organizational system to keep all practice tools.

CATEGORIES

Through more discussions over Eye Lab’s work process, I had meticulously crafted each item with efficacy and care-free sensory in mind. For example, as each Eye Lab doctor has a different medical approach, we categorize their practices with various geometric shapes. We found it to be an effective way to differentiate one doctor from another. Meanwhile, the doctors find it fun to explain their eye treatment to patients with the graphs.
